I did a Win10 install last night, the local account button has been removed. You also can’t go back to the screen where you connect to the internet and undo it. Luckily this was on a laptop so I was able to use the Fn key to kill the wireless. Only then did the installer let me proceed with a local account. I hate the way computing is headed…
I believe there’s an option on the account sign in page (under sign-in options or something) to allow you to create a local account. I agree it should be more clear, but at least it exists.
